I'm not even going to sugarcoat it: I don't like Halloween.
You all will surely tell me there's a special place in Hell with stale candy corn reserved for me.
And just in case I didn't dig my grave deep enough: I also dislike Disneyland during Halloween-time.
The inflatable Mickey Jack-o-lantern in the middle of Town Square turns my stomach more than any morning-after Trick-or-Treat binge-eating can do.
However....
One of the highlights from ALL YEAR happens at Disneyland during this time: The Dia de Los Muertos display over in Frontierland! It is one of the most beautiful things to behold.
During the month of October, Marissa and I will be sharing our favorite photos from this small and simple, but visually stunning scene tucked away near Rancho del Zocalo and Big Thunder Mountain.

In defense of Halloween-time at Disneyland: it it a spooktacular alternative for those who don't get their sick kicks over at Knott's Scary Farm.
