It's truly the most magical light show at Disneyland.

...and I finally sailed on the Columbia!

Isn't it amazing how thousands of people visit Disneyland every day and are called guests regardless of race, color, sex, religion, age, national origin, disability, political affiliation or belief, and sexual preference and yet, no one starts a war and the world doesn't come to an end?

I love the way the sun shines along the Rivers of America late in the afternoon, making the water appear to drip with diamonds. It's my favorite time to hop on the Mark Twain Riverboat. I sit at the stern and listen to the whooshing of the paddle wheel and watch as it leaves a wake.

On this particular September afternoon, the sun rays were beaming down in front of the cave on the Splash Mountain attraction (after the final fall and big splash). It was so stunningly beautiful, that I almost couldn't believe what I was seeing. Then I remembered I had my camera in my hand, and I could take photographic evidence.

I've been on the Mark Twain several times around the same hour, but have yet to see a similar sight.
