The overwhelming FUCKING MORONIC MENTALITY opinion in the True Blood fandom that the "stupid writers" have "forgotten" the Rattray reveal from the season three finale has me wanting to shove a stake through it!
Do they honestly believe the writers decided to forget that this happened:

Really?
Perhaps those "stupid writers" knew sooner or later that those of us who watch for more than Eric's bare ass would catch on to how carefully crafted the scripts have been to make the point of how nobody involved with the Ratt reveal has ever referred to it. Furthermore, the non-dumbass viewing audience wouldn't question why the writers were overlooking something we'd never forget, but instead, question why the characters don't appear to remember!
I'll be going into this a lot more, but for right now I just wanted to drop in and point a few things out:
Sookie DID NOT refer to the reveal the night of her return to Bon Temps when she engaged in coversation with Bill on her back porch. True, she expressed still being pissed; however, Sookie was pissed off at Bill when they were at Fangtasia ("You fucking betrayed me...again!"), which for her occurred just a few hours earlier.
Pam DID NOT refer to the reveal the night Sookie tried to justify why Bill tried to kill Eric (" 'Cos Eric tasted me." ). Pam could have easily thrown in Sookie's face the fact that Bill nearly had her killed to get his blood in her — a fact Sookie would not have known if not for Eric trying to protect her.
Eric DID NOT refer to the reveal at any point before or after his amnesia. Not even when Sookie stated that she still loved Bill and could not imagine a world without him in it. If there was ever a time for a gentle reminder of being beaten "within an inch of your life" that would have been it.
This memory loss has been quite beneficial for Bill...
...who is acting like the Ratts reveal never took place.
I don't know what those Ball-bashers in the fandom are sniffing, but I smell a Billshit.
