When I put down the crochet hook towards the end of May, I had no idea it would be practically the middle of July when I picked it back up!
It definitely wasn't because I got bored with what I was working on. One of the reasons why I'd been so quiet along the bloggin' and stitchin' front was because I had been in terrible spinal pain. Sometimes these dragged-out painful episodes just happen. Dragged, not drugged. If I were on Vicodin, I probably would've yarn-bombed all of Disneyland by now.
Now that I've mentioned it, me and Marissa are getting ready to relaunch our Disneyland blog, Beauty is in the Eye of the Passholder! We never quite got into the swing of doing what we wanted to do with the site, but things have changed quite a bit since we started it. Look for something in the middle of next week.
In the meantime, I'm embracing the idea that my knitting and crocheting life will revolve around squares. I've been winding up small balls of yarn and printing out stitch patterns that I can grab on-the-go. Here's a few places where you can find a stitch-load of patterns perfect for swatch-type afghans:
