And you all thought I was square, er, thought I just crocheted squares. Nope, I still love to knit, yet I never seem to blog about it anymore. Time for that to change. One of my works-in-progress involves my Who Voodoo Love Dolls. I'm still so crazy in love with 'em! Earlier in the year I began a knitted version of Dolores de los Muertos. I have elaborate, extravagant plans for Dolores— just like her personality — but I'm taking my time. Her creation includes all my favorite crafts that I want to perfect, and therefore, she's very personal to me. I also plan to make a knitted version of Edie the Energy Sucking Vampire.
What doesn't suck is how super excited I am that it's raining! It started raining late last night. And it's suppose to keep raining until Saturday. Actually, there's a break in the rain at the moment, but I'm not giving up hope it will be raining again soon. It hasn't gotten cold yet, though. But that doesn't stop Southern Californians from dressing in late Autumn fashion. When I dropped in at Disney California Adventure Tuesday night, everyone was bundled up like the next ice age was approaching. I wore a scarf (that I did not knit), but just 'cause it went cute with my cardigan.
On the subject of scarves: I've been captivated by one in a movie which I'm currently obsessed with. The style and colors are very much of the Seventies, so I'm hoping to find a similar pattern in one of my many vintage pattern books. And yes, it's knitted.
